(8:45 a.m.) Major drug bust in progress

Dozens of suspects have been arrested in a major drug bust this morning in East Mississippi, officials said.

Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Drug Enforcement Administration, East Mississippi Drug Task Force, Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department, Meridian Police Department and U.S. Marshals were attempting to serve 50 arrest warrants beginning in the early-morning hours.

It is unclear exactly how many people have been arrested in the bust and what the charges are.
