Faith leadership summit set

MERIDIAN —     Meridian Community College will host its 2014 Faith Leadership Summit, “From the Pew to the Classroom,” on Friday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Tommy E. Dulaney Center.

Pastors from local churches are encouraged to attend. “This meeting is held as an information session for the faith-based community to gain knowledge on what MCC has to offer for pastors and their congregations,” said Adrian Cross, college recruiter at MCC.

Topics that will be explored include financial aid, admissions, academics and advising, GED/ABE and workforce development. Campus tours will also be available and lunch will be served.

Attendees are asked to make their reservations by Thursday, April 17, by calling 601-581-3553 or 601-484-8632.
