East Mississippi State Hospital board member Rick Barry, surrounded by local and state representatives, prepares to cut the ribbon Thursday on the EMSH Dietary Building that will serve more than 1,000 meals per day to clients and employees of EMSH. The project, three years in the making, cost $7 million and covers 23,700 square feet. Officials also broke ground on the Receiving Unit for acute care and a Central Mechanical Building that is currently under construction.
