A man wanted on warrants for shooting into an occupied car and intimidation of a state witness turned himself in to police.
Meridian resident James Dennis Stevens, Jr., walked into the Meridian Police Department at about 11 p.m. Friday night, according to a police report.
Stevens, who was out on bond on previous felony charges, is in custody on no bond.
Police had earlier asked for the public's help in locating Stevens. In a press release issued last week, police said that Stevens was considered armed and dangerous.
