Airmen graduate basic training

MERIDIAN —     Air Force Airman 1st Class Stephanie T. Abernathy graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

         The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

         Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

         Abernathy is the daughter of Bobbie Clayton of Meridian and Sammie Abernathy of Meridian.

         She is a 2013 graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School, Meridian.

    Air National Guard Airman Marisa L. Barron graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

     The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and

basic warfare principles and skills.

     Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

     Barron is the daughter of Tonya Barron of Meridian.

     She is a 2011 graduate of Meridian High School.

    Air National Guard Airman Zachry S. Carpenter graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

         The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

         Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

         Carpenter is the son of Desiree Carpenter of Meridian.

         He is a 2011 graduate of Calvary Christian School, Meridian.

     Willis is the son of Lisa Barfield of Meridian and Marty Willis of Newton.

     He is a 2013 graduate of Meridian High School.
