Logjam

MERIDIAN — A two-vehicle accident on I-20 at exit 150 late Wednesday caused no injuries, however traffic was stalled for hours. According to Sr. Patrolman Tommie Coker of the Meridian Police Department's Motor Unit, an 18-wheeler was coming onto the on ramp and as the driver was making the curb, his load shifted and the logs fell into the highway. A second 18-wheeler traveling eastbound was unable to stop in time and hit the load of logs.
