3 people charged with murder in Meridian death

MERIDIAN — Meridian police have arrested three people and charged them with murder in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old Christopher Lee Gregory.

    Jasper Hill, Terikay Rackley and Billy Ray Barrett were arrested Thursday evening and are slated for preliminary hearings later today on the murder charges, Meridian police confirmed this morning.

    Gregory's body was found Feb. 13 in the back bedroom of a vacant trailer in the 3300 block of Old Marion Road. Police were tipped off by an anonymous caller.

        According to police reports, Gregory died of gunshot wounds to his upper torso.

        On Gregory's Facebook page, under the name Gutta Bass, Gregory is listed as the CEO and president of Power Up Entertainment. In his profile, Gregory lists Power Up Entertainment as beginning in Meridian in 2012. At the time of his death, Gregory was living in Atlanta, Ga., according to the profile information.

        According to other information on the Facebook page, Gregory was a graduate of Meridian High School and a student at Meridian Community College in 2006.
