MERIDIAN —     Officials with the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department said Friday they are looking for a woman who has been missing since July 18.

Sheriff Billy Sollie said Cynthia Serrelle LeFlore, 52, last talked to family members on the 18th but hasn't been heard from since. Sollie said LeFlore told a family member she would be home shortly after spending some time in a Meridian hotel.

Sollie said there is no reason at this stage of the case to believe there is any foul play involved in the disappearance of LeFlore but that the family is concerned about here wellbeing.

"The family says LeFlore has never been gone this long without contacting one of them to let them know she was OK," Sollie said. "So they are concerned."

Sollie said the family told investigators LeFlore is not traveling in any sort of vehicle and that they didn't know if LeFlore was with other people.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of LeFlore they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 601-485-1860 or local 911.
