I am thankful that God gave his son to die on the cross to save us from our sins. I am thankful that I live in a country where we still have freedom of speech and worship.
I am thankful for my family and for my friends. I am thankful for my church and my Sunday school class. We all have a lot to be thankful for. Too much to name.

The blessings that I have received during my life are too many to list for I have truly been bountifully blessed.
I am most thankful for life, a loving family and friends. Especially, for my husband of 36 years; he has always put his family first and he gives his love and support to his family selflessly.
He is our family's rock. We know that no matter what; we can depend on him. I am, also truly thankful for an enduring faith that has sustained me and my family through many very extreme physical and emotional trials.
This year has brought about even more reasons to give thanks for undeserved blessings. My brother-in-law was on life support and was not expected to live, but today he is a walking and talking miracle. There are also other family members who have been blessed with health after serious medical problems.
After much hard work, surviving a major health scare while in graduate school out-of-state that caused hospitalization and surgery that ended with placement in ICU, our son received his PhD in neuroscience and is now conducting research on diabetes.
For these and other blessings, I am truly thankful.
Thanksgiving is a time set aside to give thanks once a year, but I give thanks every day for all of the many blessings that have been bestowed on me and my family. Thanks be to God for all He has done.
