Two suspects sought in connection with assault

MERIDIAN —     Two more people are being sought in connection with an aggravated assault case detectives with the Meridian Police Department are probing at this time.

    MPD Capt. Dean Harper, commander of the department's Criminal Investigation Division, says one person has already been arrested as previously reported. Harper says John David White, 25, of Meridian, has been charged with aggravated assault.

    Harper says the two remaining suspects are Ian Fortenberry of Philadelphia and Ryan King of Meridian. Both men are sought in connection with the aggravated assault June 12 in which a woman sustained injuries after being run over in a car the three men were allegedly occupying.

    Harper says King is described as a white male who stands 5-07 and weighs about 130 pounds. Fortenberry is said to be a white male who standing 5-11 and weighing about 165 pounds.
