Earth's Bounty returns today

MERIDIAN —     Earth's Bounty and the Meridian Area Farmers market returns today from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Singing Brakeman Park in downtown Meridian.

    The area Farmer's Market will have a bountiful harvest to select from as will the Earth's Bounty vendors. There will be plenty of fresh peaches, watermelons, butter beans, purple hull peas, goat's milk soap, baked goods, homemade hushpuppy mix, plants, shrubs and more. Richelle Putnam will be perform and food by the Pony Express will be for sale. There will be lots of kids activities and the Meridian Main Street mascot will be on hand.

    The Greater Meridian Health Clinic is the event's presenting sponsor and will be offering free blood pressure screenings.
