Armed robbery victim won't press charges

MERIDIAN —     Meridian Police say they responded to an armed robbery around early Thursday morning.

    Meridian Police Public Information Officer Dareall Thompson said the incident happened at 1:08 a.m. on the 1900 block of Front Street.

    "Upon arrival officers determined a victim was robbed by two white males at knifepoint," Thompson said. "Officers later located the suspects and returned the stolen property over to the owner."

    Thompson said the victim did not wish to press charges on the two suspects therefore their names would not be released.
