MPD makes felony arrests

MERIDIAN —     The Meridian Police Department reported the following felony arrests:

    On April 25, Meridian narcotics agents charged Hanna S. Ivy, 21, with possession of a controlled substance. 

    Ivy’s bond was set at $5,000.

    On April 26, Meridian detectives charged Jamarco Jones, 36, with felony shoplifting. 

    Jones’ bond was set at $5,000.

    On April 27, Meridian detectives charged Dwayne L. Simmons, 28, with armed robbery. This arrest stemmed from an armed robbery that occurred on April 27, at 7:58 p.m. 

    Simmons’ bond was set at $25,000.

    On April, 27, Meridian detectives charged Travell Q. Lanier, 21, with felon carrying a concealed weapon.                  Lanier’s bond was set at $7,500.
