Authorities at the Meridian Police Department said Tuesday they have charged a man in connection with a weekend shooting incident that injured one person.

MPD Lt. John Griffith confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Juterrio M. Jackson, 22, has been charged with robbery. No bond was issued for Jackson and he is currently on hold status for authorities with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

Griffith said the shooting occurred around 4 p.m. Friday at a residence located in the 1800 block of 24th Street. Jackson and another man were arguing in the residence when the shooting erupted. A woman who was also inside the residence was hit in the right arm by the bullet. She was transported to a Meridian hospital where she was treated and released, the release said.

Griffith said the assault charge for the shooting is included in the robbery warrant.

MPD authorities also said three other individuals have been arrested in separate incidents.

In a press release issued through Griffith's office, detectives have charged Jantzen Jones, 19, with burglary of a business. Jones' bond was set at $2,500.

Marcus D. Hall, 18, has been charged with burglary in a separate incident, according to the release. Hall's bond was set at $10,000.

The release said 22-year-old Tramarcus J. Mosley was charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Mosley's bond was set at $5,000.
