Authorities search for runaway

MERIDIAN —     Local law enforcement authorities are searching for teenager who has been reported as a runaway.

    Capt. Dean Harper, commander of the Meridian Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division, said authorities are seeking information on the whereabouts of Robert Timothy Scott, 17, who was last seen near Meridian High School Friday.

    Harper said Scott is described as standing about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing around 130 pounds. Scott has blond hair and blue eyes and is fair complected. Harper said Scott reportedly has a club left foot and a tattoo on the back of his shoulders.

    If anyone has information about the whereabouts of Scott they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 601-485-1860.
