MERIDIAN —     The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation (EMBDC) is holding its 25th Annual The Main Event Business & Industry Expo Wednesday, April 24th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at Bonita Lakes Mall in Anchor E (the previous Steve & Berry’s location).

The theme of this year’s expo is "All About Town." The purpose of this year's theme is to encourage participating businesses to exhibit what they feel makes doing business in Meridian special and unique. This is a chance to show their favorite things about Meridian’s past, present and vision for the future.

The Main Event has had a yearly average attendance of more than 3,000 people. This is an excellent opportunity for businesses to get their name out into the public and let the area know what they do, according to a press release.

There will be indoor, as well as outdoor, exhibits for attendees to view and interact with. The Main Event booths are $175 for EMBDC business members, $275 for non-business members, and $75 for EMBDC non-profit members. Full pricing and details can be found in The Main Event brochure.

The brochure and exhibitor application can be found on the EMBDC homepage at www.embdc.org. Exhibitors are now able to register online for this event on the EMBDC website.

In order to receive early bird pricing, applications must be submitted by April 12th to the EMBDC. For more information about The Main Event please call 601-693-1306 or visit www.embdc.org.

The East Mississippi Business Development Corporation is a private, not-for-profit organization committed to improving economic vitality and quality of life for citizens, the press release states.
