PRAM hosts strategic PR expert

MERIDIAN —     The Meridian chapter of the Public Relations Association of Mississippi (PRAM) is inviting members of the business community to learn about strategic public relations at its May meeting Friday at noon in the Rush Hospital Cafeteria meeting room.

Kristy Gould, chief corporate planning and development officer at Hattiesburg Clinic, the largest privately owned multi-specialty outpatient clinic in Mississippi and most of the Southeastern region, will speak to PRAM Meridian about how to move beyond "ribbon cutting" and become more strategic with their organizations' public and customer outreach programs.

Gould leads an award-winning marketing and public relations division at Hattiesburg Clinic that is focused on strategic planning. Her department continues to prove successful in knocking out the myth of “party planning” in the marketing and public relations world by demonstrating growth through delivering tangible results.

Gould holds a master’s degree in public relations from The University of Southern Mississippi, and is also a cum laude graduate of Bowling Green State University Ohio, where she received her bachelor of arts degree in interpersonal communications. Kristy has 16 years of experience in customer service, sales, marketing and public relations.

PRAM Meridian holds its meetings on the third Friday of each month throughout the year in the meeting room of Rush Cafeteria, located on the third floor of the Rush Ambulatory building.

PRAM is a statewide organization of 600 public relations, marketing and communications professionals and students, with ten chapters from the Gulf Coast to the Tennessee line, and is part of the Southern Public Relations Federation. The Meridian chapter of PRAM was established in 2005. For more information on the meeting or to join, please email
