Suspect sought

MERIDIAN —     Meridian Police Department authorities are looking for a man they believe is a suspect in an attempted auto burglary case.

    MPD Capt. Dean Harper, commander of the department's Criminal Investigation Division, said patrol units of the MPD responded to the area of 18th Avenue and 14th Street on April 3 to a report of an attempted auto burglary. Harper said patrol units were unable to locate the suspect.

    Harper said authorities are asking for the assistance from the public to try and identify and locate the suspect.Those with information about this person or incident are asked to call the MPD at 601-485-1863 or CrimeStoppers at 601-485-1860.
