Meridian City Hall will be open today, 8 a.m. until noon for city residents who have not yet registered to vote. Today is the deadline to register in time to vote in the May 7 primary for city elections. Voter registration applications can also be sent by mail, but must have an April 6 post mark.
All city voters will receive a new voter registration card with their correct city ward precinct location within the next two weeks. Anyone with questions can call the city clerk’s office at 601 485-1946.
