Museum open for Earth's Bounty

MERIDIAN —     Meridian Main Street, Earth’s Bounty and MS Industrial Heritage Museum are helping celebrating 116th anniversary of the birth of Meridian native Jimmie Rodgers with downtown activities today.  

    Locally, homegrown produce will be for sale at Earth's Bounty and the MS Industrial Heritage Museum's gift shop near the 18th Avenue bridge entrance will be open. Visitors can purchase a ticket for a tour on the foundry and see how industry has developed over time.

    October 5, 2013 is the opening of the Smithsonian exhibit “The Way We Worked”.  The MS Industrial Heritage Museum will be open for tour Oct. 5 until Whistle Stop Weekend in November.

    The MS Industrial Heritage Museum will be open with unique craft items from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
