MPD makes arrests

MERIDIAN —     Officials with the Meridian Police Department released a statement Friday noting the arrest of two men for recent crimes in Meridian.

    The statement said on Jan. 1 detectives with the MPD charged LaQaurez D. Mosley with the offense of convicted felon carrying a concealed weapon. Mosley, 29, was placed on a $5,000 bond.

    In an unrelated incident, MPD detectives charged 28-year-old Joseph R. Buckley with aggravated domestic violence, police reported. His bond was set at $10,000.
