MERIDIAN —     A man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon and Meridian Police Department authorities are trying to locate the suspect.

Lt. John Griffith, public information officer for the MPD, said Friday the victim of the robbery was not injured.

Griffith said the victim called police from a location in the 2200 block of 29th Avenue at about 1:40 p.m. Friday. When officers arrived the victim told them a black man wearing a white T-shirt and khaki pants pulled a gun on him and stole some personal items.
