MPD asks for help finding teen

MERIDIAN — By Brian Lvingston

The Meridian Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing/runaway person. Lionel Isaiah Townsend, who commonly goes by "Isaiah" was reported missing by family members on Dec. 1, 2013. He is described as a 15 year-old, black male, standing 5-feet-3 inches tall, and weighing about 142 pounds. Townsend is said to be of medium build, black hair, brown eyes, medium brown complexion. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and blue Nike shoes. MPD detectives ask that anyone who has seen or come in contact with Lionel Isaiah Townsend, please contact the MPD at 601-485-1893; or 601-485-1859; or 311.
