Walter Clement, a retired professor from Auburn University, tends to a Watts-Campbell Corliss Steam Engine he donated to Soule' while Alex Joyce of Nashville, Tenn., helps demonstrate it at the 7th Annual Soule’ Live Steam Festival and Meridian Museum’s RailFest. Clement's steam engine actual operation time was from 1905-1969 at the Climax Safety Fuse Company of Avon, Conn. The festival continues today. None/Paula Merritt (Click for larger image)
