Workers built a deck and installed a hot tub at the home of 5-year-old Courtney Mae Dearing, who suffers from spina bifida. The improvements, recommended by Courtney's doctor, were made possible through the advocacy of local charity Cans for Kids and through the donations and volunteer work of Lowe's Heroes Program, Adcock Pools and Spas, Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Big Oaks, New Hope Baptist Church, and Sageville Methodist Church, as well individual donors and volunteers.
