With the summer heat finally fading away, Meridianites are in the mood for fall fairs, festivals, and fun.
At Meridian Activity Center, that fall fun will come in the form of the Made in the South Christmas Bazaar.
With food, arts and crafts, and chances to win a beautiful hand-painted sled, Meridian Activity Center will be the place to be on Nov. 15. The craft fair will include 48 booths featuring the work of a variety of artists.
Patrons of the craft fair will have the opportunity to purchase unique hand-made and hand crafted items including baskets, turned bowls, mosaics, paintings, porcelain dolls, ceramics, crocheted items, gift boxes, gourmet coffees and food, and hand painted wooden decorations, just to name a few.
The fair is open to anyone, and some booth space is still available. Artists who would like to rent a booth at the craft fair can contact Carole Ewing at (601) 485-1810.
