Evangelist Robert Henderson to visit Meridian

The MississippiShift Campaign is a new ministry specifically designed for several cities in the State of Mississippi.

The campaign, making stops in several cities throughout the state, will be in Meridian Saturday at 7 p.m. at The Gathering Place on Front Street. Rev. Robert Henderson said this an opportunity to intensify the spiritual climate of Mississippi.

“We believe that God does heal today,” said Rev. Henderson. “We've had quite a few healings in our ministry, and I've been involved in that aspect since the year 2000.

"We see a lot of that take place in our services, and we tend to target healings in every one of our services.”

For people who have illnesses that medicine has failed to heal, Henderson says that this gives those people another option to go to when seeking deliverance from their specific pains.

“The reason we're in Mississippi is because we felt that's where we were supposed to go," Henderson said. "We believe that the Lord told us to come, and that if we would come to Mississippi for a nine day period that there would be a change in the spiritual climate, and that there would be healings and miracles that would take place.”

There is no admission fee for Saturday's event
