Beaula Smith, right, of Ellisville dyes her gourd after creating decorative patterns on it. Smith and other guests participated in classes held at the Gourd Gracious Farms in Collinsville Saturday. The Fifth Annual Mississippi Gourd Festival continued, despite the rain, with more than 20 booths, supplies, door prizes and lots of food and family fun. At right, a small collection of Halloween decorated gourds were on display and for sale from M & T Hobbies of Walnut. PHOTOS BY PAULA MERRITT / THE MERIDIAN STAR None/ (Click for larger image)
