Murder suspects in custody

— Derrick Terrell Williams and Izola McMillon, wanted for the murder of Mohamed Alanzalli last Tuesday night, were arrested Sunday morning by police in Chicago, officials said.
"The two suspects were apprehended without incident at a residence in Chicago," said MPD Det. Rusty Powell Sunday afternoon. "There will be an extradition hearing there on (today). We will know then if they are going to fight extradition back to Meridian to face the charges."
Williams and McMillon are charged with capital murder, robbery and vehicle theft.
Williams, 25, and McMillon, 20, have been the primary suspects in the death of Alnazalli, 52, of Meridian. Alnazalli was the owner operator of the BP Convenience Store located at 1019 Bonita Lakes Road and Hwy. 39 Bypass. Alanazlli was found bludgeoned to death Wednesday morning inside the store. The preliminary autopsy report from Jackson received Thursday morning stated the cause of death was from blunt force trauma. Alanzalli's vehicle that was believed stolen by the two suspects was found late Thursday night in a public housing complex in western Chicago.
Williams and McMillon moved to Meridian from Chicago about a month ago. They were living with a relative of Williams on Braxton Avenue. McMillon had worked at the convenience store for one week prior to the incident.
