A subject, believed to be Billy Kinard, wanted for allegedly bounding an elderly relative to a chair in his home over the weekend, has bailed his vehicle after a 30-minute chase that began in North Meridian.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department , Meridian Police Department and other authorities have been pursuing the suspect since spotting him on Highway 493. He has now fled the vehicle off 145 South and authorities are searching for him in the woods.

The chase reached high speeds as it went from 22nd Avenue to 145 South in the Clarkdale Community.
