A woman who died in a one-vehicle accident Friday night has been identified as 37-year old Michelle Meinert of Hopkins, Ky.
Meinert died of injuries she suffered when her vehicle apparently lost control on Hwy. 19 South at the Hwy. 45 bypass and slammed into a guardrail at about 9 p.m.
Meinert and her husband had recently moved to Meridian from Hopkins, Kentucky. The couple moved to the area so Meinert's husband could work on the natural gas pipeline currently being constructed in Clarke County.
No autopsy was ordered.
