(11:17 a.m.) Boswell blasts Loblolly

The Lauderdale County Board of Supervisors held a meeting this morning in which Dist. 5 Supervisor Ray Boswell made clear his negative opinion of the Loblolly project. The county has spent millions of dollars on the project - in which timber product manufacturer Loblolly promised to build a manufacturing plant in Lauderdale County - but has thus far received no return on their investment. Board President Hank Florey has said that he believes Loblolly will hold to their promise, but Boswell said he does not share Florey's faith in the company.
