A bomb squad from Camp Shelby is now diffusing nine WWII era 60mm mortar shells unearthed by pipeline workers in a remote area south of Pachuta this morning. Emergency personnel from Clarke County are also at the site off of County Road 286 in Jasper County. According to sources, the site was used during WWII for live round exercises and bomb training.
