Richard H. Zeagler and Mary P. Jones, teachers at West Lauderdale High School, enjoy refreshments and conversation during Monday's retirement reception in honor of retirees of Lauderdale County Schools. Both have served the school district for 35 years. Twenty-two retirees were honored, each receiving a plaque. Also recognized were: Linda T. Arledge, principal, Northeast Elementary, 21 years; Susan Buchanan, custodial staff, Northeast Elementary, 19 years; Willie Rae Clarke, bus driver/cafeteria, West Lauderdale High School, 31 years; Angie Cook, secretary/computer, Northeast High, 25 years; Kathy Dyess, teacher, Northeast Middle, 32 years; Betsy Garrett, secretary/receiptionist, Northeast High, 15 years; Anna Lucille Gowdy, cafeteria, Northeast Middle, 9 years; Chris Harris, teacher, Northeast Elementary, 28 years; Debra Harris, teacher Clarkdale, 25 years; Lindsey Keene, director of vocational technology/special projects, Central Office, 32 years; Larry Knight, bus garage, perations/Transporation Department, 22 years; Faye Mathis, teacher, Clarkdale, 25 years; Cynthia Myers, teacher, Northeast High, 30 years; Marsha Psencik, teacher, Northeast Elementary, 25 years; Clarice Rawson, teacher assistant, Northeast Elementary, 27 years; Joann Reese, facilitator, Southeast High, 32 years; Beverly Scales, teacher, Northeast High, 32 years; Elaine Sorrels, teacher, West Lauderdale Elementary, 23 years; Ann Tolbird, teacher, Northeast High, 27 years; and Judy Wright, teacher, Northeast High, 27 years.
