10 a.m. Storm damage in Tupelo

— JACKSON, MISS., Thursday, May 8, 2008--- According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), a tornado or straight-line winds caused damage to several buildings at the District Office in Tupelo, Mississippi.
At this time, we have reports of downed trees, roof damage to several buildings at the district complex, and loss of electric power.
MDOT has no reports of injuries at their Tupelo facility.
