GOP selects delegates, officers

from staff reports

Republicans from Lauderdale County held their county convention on Saturday, April 26, 2008 in the Circuit Court Room of the Lauderdale County Court House. The convention is held every four years to elect delegates and alternate delegates to the Statewide Republican Convention that was held in Jackson on May 10. Each of Mississippi’s 82 counties are allocated delegate positions based on the Republican voter turnout in the prior presidential election.
