(2:13 p.m.) Noxubee County to 'officially' welcome new jobs

— The Noxubee Alliance and Thomasson Company will celebrate Noxubee County's newest industry with a ribbon cutting and grand opening Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Macon Treating Co. at 14877 Highway 45 in Macon.
A facility tour and refreshments will be available following the ceremony.

The new Macon Treating Company is the latest project for Thomasson Company in Noxubee County. Macon Treating Company, along with sister company East Mississippi Pole Company, represents a total investment of $6 million and about 30 new jobs in Noxubee County.

The public is invited.
