Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun, left, and Lt. Andy Hatcher, far right, were on hand Thursday to see two new deputies, Cory White and Joe Griffin graduate from the Mississippi Law
Enforcement Training Academy in Pearl, MS. The basic training class is a 400 hour, 10 week program that all law enforcement officers must complete. The department is proud of the accomplishment of both of these deputies and look forward to working with them as we continue to serve the citizens of Lauderdale County.
