‘St. Patty’s O'Cabaret’ to be held Saturday

Tickets are still available for The Company of Angels’ second annual celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. “St. Patty’s O’Cabaret” will be held Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Angels Theatre at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1116 23rd Avenue.
The theatre has been turned into a cabaret setting with tables and chairs for the audience. Heavy hors d’ oeuvres and beverages will be available for the audience as the Company’s performers offer music, dance and entertainment. Sara Carmichael and Aaron Pogue are co-masters of ceremonies and will greet you with the familiar opening song “Welcome O Cabaret”.
Other performers will include David Benson, the Carol Merrill Dancers, Bob Hermetz, Walton Jones, Diane Key, Steve Nabors, Elliott Street, Greg Stuart, and Elizabeth Thomas. Familiar songs from several Broadway shows such as “Anything Goes,” “A Little Night Music,” and “Man of La Mancha” as well as well known Irish tunes such as “Danny Boy” and “My Wild Irish Rose” will be featured. There will be audience sing-a-longs, Irish jokes, and toasts to make the evening a memorable one.
Hors d’oeuvres include a variety of Saint Patty’s appetizers, corned beef sandwiches, Irish stew, and Blarney Stone-Kissed cookies. Beer, wine and Bailey's Irish coffee will be on sale for $4 per glass. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by calling the Company at 601-595-2042.
