Doesn’t want to see carbon copy

PLEASE Do Not let downtown Meridian become just another carbon copy of other cities!! I would rather see Meridian move in the direction It has started with Threefoot Building even if it may longer and more money , etc. You will be taking the heart out of Meridian also Losing the Class and Elegance along with it not to mention Pride. Of course being a chain if their hotel doesn't succeed as planned they will close it and Meridian will have another eyesore on its hands and more lost of buildings with character gone forever.Even if you made a retirement home of the threefoot you DO NOT need this chain spoiling Downtown.People of Meridian don't let this happen.Cherish and protect your downtown.
