Dear T.J. Harris parents and valuable community supporters:

I would like to thank each of you the opportunity to serve you and the children at T.J Harris Elementary. It has been a pleasure working with you as we have watched our students grow, and our school become one of the best schools in the district. I have watched the involvement of our parents increase over 90%. Your involvement is one of the major reasons our students are excelling.

The new administrator possesses the same goals that we as a school and community have sought to put in place during the last four years. Your valuable input as a parent will be an important key to the continued learning success of the students at T.J. Harris.

You are cordially invited to meet the new principal of T.J. Harris. The faculty and staff will host a “Meet and Greet” for Mrs. Wanda Kendrick, the new principal. This special event will be held at T.J. Harris Lower Campus Cafeteria on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.

Thank you for your support and I know that you will continue to give the new principal that same commitment.
