Kennedy has eye on federal ‘border’ funds

In his address to the nation last Monday night, the president stated, “So we will increase federal funding for state and local authorities assisting the Border Patrol on targeted enforcement missions.”

This means that the feds will give money only to the states that border Mexico. It’s rumored in the streets of Boston that Sen. Ted Kennedy has demanded legislation that will allow all states to border Mexico.
