Response to air show parking

— I would like to respond to Mr. Sunderland’s comments about “Parking hassles at a great air show." We also had to wait in line for a couple of hours to park but it was because we chose to arrive late. Every ad I saw or heard preceding the event urged people to “arrive early to avoid long lines.” I spoke with several people who did arrive early and they were able to get in without a long wait. I think the traffic flowed very well for the number of people present. I believe the final count was over 45,000 on Sunday. To coordinate an event with that many people in attendance and pull it off without any major problems is no small feat. I would like to commend all of the volunteers both civilian and military for a job well done!
