Heartfelt thanks from Cans For Kids
Cans For Kids would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to all those who supported our Christmas program. Thanks to the Meridian Star for publicizing our events which enabled us to have such a great turnout.
We began November 30th and December 1st with a fundraiser sponsored by the Echo Lounge. Special thanks go out to everyone who donated items for auction as well as the bidders.
On December 8th we started at 12:00 p.m. at Meridian Yamaha with a Toy Run sponsored by the East Central Chapter of ABATE of MS and Southern Cruisers. Santa was handing out presents while sponsors met with families and exchanged gifts. At 3:00 p.m. we moved to Bonita Lakes Mall for the drawing for shopping sprees in the amounts of $250.00 and $500.00.
Cans For Kids hopes that among all the organizations in Meridian that no child was left in need for Christmas.
