Editor's Note: Kelly Johnson, a fourth grade teacher at Southeast Elementary, recently facilitated a discussion in her class about people who make a difference in small ways and big ways. The class decided to write "thank you" letters to different people who make a difference in their lives. They wrote letters to the veterans who attended the Veteran's Day Program at the school. They also wrote letters to local businesses who support their Newspapers in Education program. Those letters are being displayed below.
