    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • Domestic violence — Latisha L. Johnson, 30, 1318 19th St., Meridian.

    • Embezzlement — Alonzo L. Oliphant Jr., 21, 113 Tillman Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Virginia W. Wright, 28, 4320 36th Ave., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Theft

    • 1000 block Bonita Lakes Circle

    • 100 block South Fifth Place

    • 3100 block Highway 39 North

    • 1700 block South Second Street

    • 2900 block North Hills Street

    • 4300 block Fifth Street

    Assault

    • 2300 block 32nd Street

    Burglary

    • 2900 block 16th Street

    Armed robbery

    • 2900 block Highway 39 North

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Mac E. Popham, 61, 13465 Sleepy Hollow Lane, Bedias, Texas.

    • Possession of cocaine — Kenneth F. Singleton, 56, 9890 Morgan Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Brittany N. Warren, 22, 5810 Arthur St., Meridian.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    Traffic accident

    • Highway 19 South, Meridian.

Mississippi   Highway Patrol

     Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.

    • DUI — Angela D. Melton, 48, 7721 Highway 503, Hickory.

Marion Police Department

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
