Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • DUI — Lester J. Evans, 52, 2703 Grandview Drive, Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Gentle D. Green, 27, 105 St. Francis Drive, Philadelphia.

    • DUI — Hansel D. Jackson, 57, 1521 Ridge Road, Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Bonnie J. McCoy, 34, 6001 Fifth St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Candice L. Rutledge, 28, 640 County Road 375, Enterprise.

    

    The Meridian Police Department reported the no incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Telephone harassment — David C. Brewer, 35, 1984 Graceland Drive, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Christopher N. Brittain, 30, 11750 County Road 171, Philadelphia.

    • DUI — Quincy B. Capers, 26, 410 Calvary Road, Pennigton, Ala.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Katie M. Clarke, 26, 12461 Newton County Road, Collinsville.

    • Domestic violence — Brian L Clayton, 30, 10415 Rabbit Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Walter R. Dearmond, 44, 111 Ramada Circle, Jackson.

    • DUI — Dexter Hubbard, 20, 4779 Marion Drive, Meridian.

    • DUI — Arrick J. Huggins, 35, 4883 Vimville Causeyville Road, Meridian.

    • Avoiding roadblock — Ronald E. Mays, 35, 145 Hardwood Drive, Lisman, Ala.

    • Possession of paraphernalia — Joseph L. Pritchard, 24, 230 Front St., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 19 N.

    • Building Fire, 42nd Avenue

    • Gas leak, 21st Street       

      

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs.

    

    Metro Ambulance reported 32 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.
