MERIDIAN —     The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

    • Malicious mischief — Corey L. Crain, 25, 2015 Mosby Rd., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Tracey A. Davis, 36, 7623 Old 8th Street Rd., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Jerry Griffen, 55, 4009 5th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Terry L. Jones, 42, 180 County Circle Rd., Stonewall.

    • Possession of marijuana — Othron D. Pollard, 19, 4811 30th St., Meridian.

    • Burglary — Jesse L. Smith, 23, 1013 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Shamekia Norwood, born 1990, Marion Russell Dr., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Cameron C. Martin, born 1991, Bennie Cooper Rd., Meridian.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Lashonda Kennon, born 1986, 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Andrew Dunnigan, born 1986, 11th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Teddy Derick, born 1964, Pulaski.

    • DUI — Charles Plummer Jr., born 1985, 33rd Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Adrian T. Moore, born 1983, C St., Meridian.

    • DUI — James Peavy, born 1970, Front St., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Kela M. Thomas, born 1989, Union.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.  

    Stolen Vehicle

    Meridian Police are investigating on stolen vehicle case that occurred from Friday to Sunday. When details are available, they will be released.       


    Meridian Police are investigating three armed robberies and one strong armed robbery that occurred from Friday to Sunday. 

    Auto Burglary       

    Meridian Police are investigating several auto burglaries that occurred from Friday to Sunday. 

    Residential Burglary

    Meridian Police are investigating several residential burglaries that occurred from Friday to Sunday.

      The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

    • Contributing to delinquency of minor — Kristopher S. Alexander, 24, 232 Tucker Dr., Brandon.

    • DUI — Joe L. Brown, 50, 136 Park Rd., Butler, AL.

    • Domestic violence — Christopher C. Dickerson, 28, 2684 Hwy. 496, Meridian.

    • DUI — Lisa C. Forbert, 53, 2104 41st St., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Stephen T. Gaines, 26, 3258 CR 680, Quitman.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Jarrod H. Gingell, 35, 71 Butternutt Dr., Columbus.

    • DUI — Chad L. Gray, 42, 4320 36th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of cocaine — James C. Harbin, 50, 5959 Luther Ray Cobb Rd., Meridian.

    • Possession of drugs while in possession of firearm — Jacorious T. Jones, 21, 2015 Mosby Rd., Meridian.

    • DUI — James E. McDaniel, 26, 1785 Jeff Davis School Rd., Meridian.
