MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Embezzlement — Amanda D. McDaniel, born 1992, 2108 26th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Dennis R. Earl, born 1976, 2204 10th Ave., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Deannie D. Taylor, born 1991, 2923 Davis St., Meridian.

    • DUI — Robert N. Keyes, born 1969, 214 46th Ave., Meridian.

    • DUI — Gurmukh, Singh, born 1969, 4501 Highway 39 N., Meridian.

    • Probation violation — Charles J. Hall, 19, 4312 35th St., Meridian.

    • Grand larceny — Michael S. Wood, 32, 967 Lake St., Meridian.

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.  

    Stolen Vehicle

    • 8:00 a.m., 800 block of 53rd Avenue

    Residential Burglary

    • 10:00 a.m., 3500 block of 30th Street

    • 7:40 p.m., 4600 block of 53rd Avenue

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • Stalking — Richard C. Jolly, 59, 10031 Hillview Drive, Meridian.

    • Abusive emergency calls — Lateasha A. Martinez, 31, 2684 Highway 496, Meridian.

    • DUI — David L. Smith, 23, 421 Willow Ridge Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Jason Vick, 33, 1009 Tinsley Chisolm Road, DeKalb.

    • Failure to pay child support — Billy F. Wooten Jr., 49, 9784 Warren Lake Rd., Meridian.

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    DUI

    • Highway 39 N. / Old Country Club Rd., Meridian.

    • Highway 39 N. / 19th Ave., Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 2700 block Valley Road, Meridian.

    Robbery

    • 9700 block Highway 45 N., Meridian.

Mississippi Highway Patrol

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • False alarm, 23rd Street

    • False alarm, 45th Avenue              

    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.

    • EMS, Lauderdale Road (Lauderdale)

    • EMS, Dixie Highway School Road (Toomsuba)

    • Traffic accident, Poplar Springs Drive (Northeast)

Ambulance runs
