MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Domestic violence — Kyree K. Armstrong, 22, 350 56th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — L. C. Eleby, 62, P.O. Box 161, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Amber K. Hayes, 21, 350 56th Ave., Meridian.

    • Malicious mischief — Juan R. Matos-Nieves, 35, 3807 42nd St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Latasha Lewis, born 1982, D St., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Michael D. Griggs, born 1988, 10th St., Meridian.



Incident Reports



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.   



    Residential Burglary

    Tuesday at 12:06 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 1100 block of Sixth Street. Upon arrival police were shown how entry was made through a window but nothing was stolen.

    Tuesday at 10:36 a.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 500 block of Front Street Extension. Police were shown how entry was made through a door and miscellaneous items were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.

    Tuesday at 3:28 p.m., police responded to a residential burglary in the 3800 block of 42nd Street. Police were shown how entry was made through a door and miscellaneous items were stolen. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.



    Stolen Vehicle

    At 1500 PM Monday afternoon, police were alerted to a stolen vehicle from the Bonita Mall area. The owner said the vehicle was stolen from the parking lot. The car was recovered in the county by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.



    Auto Burglary        

    Police responded to an auto burglary at 6:50 a.m. Monday in the 4500 block of 35th Avenue. Entry was made through a door but nothing was stolen. If anyone has information on this case, they are asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.    

    

Lauderdale County Sheriff's      Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Simple assault — Lance M. Bordelon, 26, 8002 Allen Rd., Collinsville.

    • Probation violation — Eric L. Brassfield, 35, 1630 Lizzie Rd., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Kasey M. Kadinger, 44, 14111 South Meridian St., Lebanon, IN.

    • DUI — Justin B. Wilkes, 37, 907 64th Ave., Meridian.

    • Felon in possession of firearm — James P. Wilson, 33, 3211 Bolen Long Creek Rd., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Theft

    • 3800 block Old Hwy. 19 SE., Meridian.

    DUI

    • Hwy. 495 / Gum Log Rd., Meridian.

    Suspicious vehicle

    • Earl Haney Rd., Meridian.



Mississippi Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Lustful touching of a child — Camontesze L. Seymoure, 36, 548 Country Club East Rd., Meridian.

    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.  



    • False alarm, 24th Ave.

    • Power line down, Royal Rd.                     



    The volunteer fire departments reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.
